Meet Jenny (Manager)

Hey I’m Jenny

I’ve been with the Stone Hair Art team for almost 9 years now, I’m basically part of the furniture 😅 . I was made salon manager a little under 2 years ago. My work is a huge part of my life, I’m very lucky to have a profession that is also a passion. If I’m not actively in the salon I will still be thinking or researching or planning all things hair! I love it! Away from the salon I love to spend time with family and friends, eating out at new places and walking in the beautiful countryside and of course not forgetting cuddling up with my pooch Frank.

From a very early age I wanted to become a hairdresser, I love that it’s a profession in which you have to be incredibly creative and academic at the same time. The perfect marriage of craft and intellect. I was lucky enough to do my qualification training with Loucas at Stone, gaining my NVQ. From there I then went on to do my Master Colour training with Wella the highest level colourist training available, this then led me to attend the Wella Colour Congress the year after. I absolutely love to learn and think its crucial to continue to develop your skills as a stylist. I then decided to attend individual courses which interested me; including Sophia Hiltons freehand Balayage techniques, she is also someone in the industry who I admire. I have been fortunate enough to have gained experience in photoshoots throughout my time at Stone and over the years developed my role as a trainer and teacher with the new team members.

I am an in-house educator at Stone Hair Art.

My role in the salon has changed in the last couple of years which i have throughly enjoyed, as salon manager you’ll find me helping to develop the team. I’m still very much on the salon floor and very lucky to have an incredible client base, I love finding out about peoples lives and feel privileged to be a part of their experience. I’m a very open book when it comes to the type of work/look I like to create in the salon, my main aim is to listen to the individual and shape something together. I feel very lucky to think that I really do love my job.
